About Foldbench editorial standards
About Foldbench: this is a US shopping comparison for strollers and car seats. Ranks come from published formulas. A brand cannot buy a position. Specs are either cited to a manufacturer page with the date we read them, or left Unverified.
Editorial standards
- Scores are computed in code from the constants on the methodology page. We do not publish a crash-safety score.
- A spec marked Manufacturer includes the source URL and the date it was checked. Anything else stays Unverified, even if the number looks familiar.
- Displayed Amazon prices that are marked Live come from the Amazon Creators API or legacy PA-API. Sample prices are labeled and are not taken from other price databases.
- Recall text is quoted from NHTSA’s public child-restraint file. A name match is not a statement about your exact unit.
- Draft guides at /guides are noindex until the owner approves them. They are not in the sitemap. How-to articles at /articles stay off the site, including the sitemap and RSS feed, until their publish date.
No paid placements
0 paid placements. Brands cannot buy a rank. If a price changes, the value rank can change, because price is an input to the formula.

How to read a product page
Start with the short answer under the title, then the comparison table and the questions. The spec table is the place to see which figures were cited. The methodology explains every score. Confirm limits on the product you buy.
