The industry-leading child safety seat company Britax announced its new family of car seats called “ClickTight” (click tight) after G4 models. According to Britax it will change the car seat installation process forever.
With the new Britax Click Tight models, you will be able to install and make it ready to travel with a few easy steps with the use of vehicle seat belt. Check it on Amazon.com
We understand that ClickTight Technology will come with their popular car seats, and now they will be named like, Marathon ClickTight, Boulevard ClickTight, and Advocate ClickTight, they do not talk about Pavilion or Roundabout.
They will be called or coded like, the Marathon CT, Boulevard CT and Advocate CT in short.
You can check how they compare with their previous models:

They show the step by step installation process and it really seems easy. Turn the ClickTight, Release to open, Thread and connect the vehicle seat belt, click and closed that is all!

So what was the motivation for Britax to make a big change and bring the ClickTight Technology to life. Britax explains this with weight limits. The LATCH (the lower anchor) is great but you can’t count on it after 60 pounds in rear facing and 65 pounds in forward facing (remember Britax dropped their weight limit from 70 to 65 pounds in G4 models) and should use vehicle seat belt. This is why Britax come with a solution that can use the lower anchor or seat belt but the will encourage parents to use the Click Tight system (the vehicle seat belt).

Of course there will be questions about new system, for years car seat manufacturers tell us how the LATCH is easy to use and secure, and now they will have to show us, using the vehicle seat belt is not that difficult.
